My name is Amane and I am an Early Childhood Education Major at Governors State University, Class of 2019. I chose to go into Early Childhood Education because I love working with young children. This stage of their development is a delicate yet outstanding phase of growth. Nothing would make me happier than to be a positive influence on a child’s prosperity.

My varied experiences include everything from being a teacher’s aide for a child care setting to running a preschool classroom as a teacher. Through these opportunities, I gained the utmost respect for this profession and the confidence to move forward in my learning experience.

Information about myself, I am a mother of a 3-year-old and I’ve been married for about 10 years now. I’m working on my bachelor’s degree, so I could become a kindergarten or first grade teacher. I worked with young children. I babysit for over 15 years. I am a family person. My family comes first before anything.
